If you can start the day without caffeine, and you can always be cheerful, ignoring aches and pains,

If you can resist complaining and boring people with your troubles,

Till when?

Yes, pain is a part of life
and inevitable, is strife
But, I had been vacillating
amid the confounding mind
I wished feelings to keep breathing ,
and yet, to leave the pain behind.
A vicious circle
it had been,
engendering a question-
till when?
till when will it hurt?
till when will I waver?
I wished for equanimity,
and an end to this quiver.
And I got the answer
Feelings are footprints, cemented with love
undisturbed, intact, always in preserve.
Let them sleep as a child,
don’t fiddle with them with thoughts.
to keep them buried, yet alive.
Hope will leave away with thoughts,
and it will set you free.
And, equanimous, you will then be.

Regret

“I’ll chase you”,
says Regret
“wherever you go.”
Hide me in your silence,
I will still thrive
Pretend being the accused,
I will still be alive.
Smash me by indulgence,
I will not turn away.
With you,
forever, I will stay.

But, after failing,
for once,
Admit my presence.
Mourne, or get angry,
don’t give in to pretence.
For once,
forgive yourself
And I promise, then
I will walk away.

It's like sitting in a class

and overhearing the lectures.

It's like marrying someone

who you're indifferent to.

It's like doing a job

for 'money'

It's like repressing anger and…

*bleep bleep* This post is an alarm for you to ask yourself - are you truly living? :) PS and also, this is another reblog. I have no idea, what happened to the little creativity I had in me. Until I find it again...
